My wife placed 3 little garden statues in our garden. From then, every 5 minutes or so I received false alarms for detecting a person.
My solution was to block the area with the statues from detection.
My wife's solution was to move the statues to another place in the garden.
      Both solutions seem to work.

@kees-schouten_520844064690363 Try to increase the alarm delay to 2 or 3 seconds.

@basketballlegends I'll try to do as you say, I hope it works.

I notice a similar unwanted phenomenon. When I enable the feature to draw a rectangle around detected objects, the camera draws rectangles around cars that are not moving.
The impression this leaves me with is that the software is able to detect the object (car, person, animal) but is not able to detect that the object is "moving". I do not have 'alerts' enabled, and cannot comment on whether the camera provides false motion detection.

A $30 Wyze Cam 4 seems to have no problem recognizing and alerting on moving vehicles.

@crimp-on_62210811129 Correct. I have reported this to support for quite some time. This is more noticeable if one enables tracking and there is a stationery car opposite the road. So if there is a person then the stationary car is detected too. So far I didn't see any solution from their side.
