Is there a USB Bluetooth receiver that works with an NVR?

I've seen some pretty old postings about wireless mice and Reolink NVRs and so I thought I'd make a fresh comment / question.
I keep my NVR out of sight about 15-20 feet from my monitor/TV screen that is wall mounted. I have a wireless trackball working with the NVR using the provided USB 2.4Gz radio that comes with the trackball. However, the range is about 10' and a PITA to use.

I can switch the trackball to Bluetooth mode which should have a little better range. (Kensington SlimBlade Pro Wireless Trackball, Rechargeable Battery, Bluetooth 2.4GHz Connection Options (K72080WW)) The challenge is to how to add Bluetooth to the NVR. Most receivers require a PC with drivers and need to be configured on the PC and there are dependencies to be connected to a USB on a PC rather than the NVR. I had hoped that after configuring the trackball to work on a PC, I could move the USB receiver to the NVR, but that is not the case.

Anyway, that's my experience. If anyone has any Bluetooth suggestions, I would love to hear them.

@user_838347292926089_838347292926089 was this ever done? I'm in the same boat. Having a usb bluetooth 5.0 receiver work in the RLN36 would be a gamechanger, and something I sorely need in order to get a required range.

@basketball stars Sharing your experience is appreciated! You seem to have considered your NVR setup solution. Have you considered an NVR-specific Bluetooth USB adapter? Some don't need complicated drivers, making connections easier. I hope a community member can offer more specific guidance! Good luck!

What about using a USB extension cable? Amazon sells extension cables of 10ft, 20ft, and even 32ft.
