I've a camera behind a windows glass. The outside is lighted well, at night I get nothing because the led lights of the camera are mirrored because of the glass. How do I turn the leds off short of breaking them off or removing them. 🙂

It is highly advisable not place your camera behind a window which can cause reflection of the IR lights.

Yes, just like FongJeng Kum said.

The models that support turning off LEDs:
          RLC-423,RLC-423S, RLC-423WS,

          C1, C2, C1 Pro,

          Keen, Argus, Argus 2.

Is your model among the list above? If not, sorry to tell you you are not able to turn them off.

Can the camera firmware not be enhanced to turn them off on the 410 and the 411?

Use case I am looking at:

I want to purchase external IR illuminators to better light my yard so I can continue to film in IR while at the same time not having the IR lights attract bugs and spiders. This creates major recording issues for me.
My old FOSCAM allowed me to do this. I'd hope that going forward this is considered in all cameras and I can attest that as a feature "Film in IR with on camera LEDs disabled" would be a very useful feature to have.

I've been running my system since August and I have to deal with flies and spiders causing motion detect issues because they are attracted to the IR lights. I'm considering selling my system and going to LOREX as I've read their systems do this (perhaps even FOSCAM/Amcrest).

Unfortunately, the listed models are not supported to turn off IR-LEDs due to hardware limitations.

I'm really amazed that these camera's don't all have LED control, as well as things like scheduled image exposure control so I can manually decide what exposure I want at night rather than leave it to the (poor) automatic mode. Its simply not necessary all the time to have to use infrared as an increased exposure in some conditions (like where there are road lights nearby) can give excellent results.

Do you guys publish your software feature development plans anywhere for your customers to comment and make suggestions on? it would help you immensely to understand what we desire and take the guess work out of what developments you should prioritise next.

I really like the Reolink build quality and mobile software, but I would really appreciate seeing some more configuration control on the camera.

Sorry that we do not publish software feature development plans but if you have feature requests, please drop us an Email or publish at https://reolink.com/forum/general-discussion/suggestion-box/
We are sorry that some old models don't have the function you need due to hardware limitations. Some of our new models support it from feature requests from our amazing supporters.
Please also kindly understand the fact not all requests can be implemented.
