Never had a problem with the app until 4 weeks ago. Now it will only connect using my cell phone app while I'm on wifi. If I'm not on wifi it will show connection failed. I switched my cell phone carrier thinking it was them. Nope. Same result with different carrier. Please help. Looks like I'm not the only one with this problem. Help me!
First thing to check is that UID is enabled. From windows client Network Advanced / UID enable check box.
Had this problem, after reboot its gone. I hope it help you.
I also have the same problem with "Connection Failed". The camera and connection was very stable since I bought my RLC-411WS a couple of months ago until recently. There was some pretty heavy rain recently so I thought maybe the GFI power boxes outside tripped. But the power is all on. I rebooted the router and reset the camera using the reset button and powering off. Still cannot connect to the camera. It's pretty frustrating. I have a message to support and will see what they can do. I hope I don't have to remove it and connect with ethernet. I don't have a 75' ether net cable to run from my router to the camera and removing it is a real challenge. Lets see. Any advise to resolve the "connection failed" issue would be highly welcome.
Some of my Android devices have also had problems with the 4.4.3.2 update. Those with the 4.3.1.3 update work fine. How can I download the earlier update 4.3.1.3?
I am having same problem connecting to RLN8-410 via Mobile 3G/4G. It connects well over any wifi.I have updated the firmware without any luck. Must be issue with recent app updates.Reolink Support any help in this?
I have the RLC-411WS which has been working well, much better than the Amcrest I used before. However, after recent rains, the wifi stopped working. I tried rebooting, resetting, but still no connection. Finally I ordered a 75’ Ethernet cable (only $10 on Amazon) and made a wired connection. After that, I was able to get connected again and reset all the wifi settings. To prevent any chance of water entering the camera I taped over the power, Ethernet and other entry ports. Since then, we got more than 3 inches or rain and all is good. Fingers crossed, but my problem seems solved now by Re-establishing a wired connection temporarily and then plugging all the potential water entry points.
app on windows a lot but very bad, every two and three stops ... for a few hours totally gray screen. I have a 410ws1.png
