I know, even other Reolink cameras don't have APIs yet. But they have ONVIF, which is still some kind of 3rd party integration capability. I think Argus really need some APIs so that it can be used along with other products. Other than designing integration with specific products like SmartThings, I urge Reolink to start providing APIs. It can start from small things like turning PIR on/off, Pushing motion notifications and downloading recorded footage.I realize there are a lot of unique challenges with wire-free cameras. But suggestions above should be easy to implement with software without too many implications. I see good potentials in Reolink products - cloud independent, supporting ONVIF (for wired cameras), great price with great quality. Please don't let me regret that I chose Reolink over Arlo.
Thanks for your suggestions. Your thoughts will be forwarded to our supervisors and engineers.
I believe in REOLINK will continuously improve on their products.I have been a very satisfied customer, they have very prompt support.Keep up the good work!Let's hope there's some software/firmware release for the coming Xmas!
Sorry if my comments came out a bit harsh. It's just I see Reolink products the best candidate to become my ideal security camera platform and hoping it will happen sooner!
