      We’ve noticed some users experiencing issues with motion detection notifications not working properly. Don’t worry—we’re here to help! Below is a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot and resolve notification-related problems. Let’s dive in:
      Enable Motion Detection
      First, ensure your device is detecting motion. Verify this by checking for:

      • A motion detection icon on the live view.
      • Alarm sirens, push notifications, or emails triggered during movement.
      • No detection? Adjust motion zones/sensitivity in your camera settings.


      Check Push Notification Settings
      A. Phone System Settings:

      • iOS/Android: Enable push notifications for the Reolink app in your phone’s system settings.

      B. In-App Settings:

      • Turn on the push notification switch and confirm your push schedule is active.

      • Android Users: Avoid enabling Do Not Disturb, Data-Saver, or Adaptive Power modes.


      Ensure WAN Access
      Confirm you can access the app remotely (e.g., on cellular data or another Wi-Fi). If issues persist, share your device’s UID for our team to review:

      Re-Add Your Device
      Sometimes, removing and re-adding the camera/NVR in the app resolves glitches.

      Update Firmware & App
      A. Firmware: Always use the latest version for optimal performance.

      Reinstall the Reolink App
      Uninstall and reinstall the app. Important: Save your camera’s UID, username, and password first!

      Reboot Devices & Router
      Restart your router and cameras. For stubborn issues, reset the router (not just reboot).
