Overwhelmed, converting from Nest

Not exactly thrilled with the product refresh from Nest and would m like to get more functionality out of my security system.

Problem is, Reolink has so many options I'm a bit overwhelmed on what I would actually want/need to buy. What I'm after here is:

• Ability to store video up to 30 days and be able to browse it, in real time, on phone or PC
• Doesn't matter whether this is done by cloud or local storage, I'm good with either methodology
• For cameras I need:
• 1 Doorbell
• 2 Floodlights w/ Cameras
• 5 180-degree cameras, ability to pant, tilt and track would be gravy.
• Would like 4k across the board (maybe 2k for the door)
• I will power these by either outlets or solar (can wire all of them, solar is convenient for 1)
• Need WiFi connections to local storage or the cloud, ethernet cables wont happen as I'm on a farm with longer distances
• I do have a robust Mesh network with Asus BE96s which are rock solid

So, for those who have Reolink and know their IT landscape, what hardware route is best for me to explore here?

You will need a NVR. They have 3 models.

Its local storage. They do have cloud storage for the 4G cameras.

They have POE and Direct Connected Flood Light Cams

They have 180 cams also with flood lights. They do have PTZ cams, I would recommend to look at the TrackMix

They have 4k and 2k cams.

They do have solar power cams and direct powered cams

They do sell wifi cams. I hope you have wireless backhaul bridges in place? Point to Multi Point links. If not, go look at Ubiquiti UISP Airmax product line.

@infected_1001635108659405 Wherever possible try to avoid battery cameras and opt for POE. WIFI cams can be jammed by a 20 buck jammer. I used two battery cams in location where I cannot reach them through any cable.

They have lots of models but before you start to check them out ensure you know your requirements. In particular check the field of view. Recent cameras have lower vertical field of view. Note also that not all the cameras can be connected to the cloud and on the cloud they only store short recordings. So best option is to have the recordings of the events on their internal SD and 24x7 recording on the NVR. This is what we normally do.
