@user_822884704698612_822884704698612 Need more details on how its connected? using POE switch? You cant see your DHCP table within your router? There should be a list of connected clients within the router. If you could bring the camera down plug it up closer to the router with a short drop cable, that will confirm is there is a faulty cable or cam.
@joseph_1979 I think ReoLink banks on being affordable (hardware cost and no subs) and a very basic amount of features. There are times when I have thought about spending the money $$ on more expensive cameras and NVRs to get the "current" basic features. I have a mixed bag of cameras on my home for testing. I'm trying to figure out which brand I want to stick with. Fully customized motion zones. Not a do not record painting feature. WDR/HDR. Fully customized scenarios. At least give us a all cam motion display section within the phone app when connected to the a NVR/HH. When I click on the NVR/HH through the phone app, all the cams should live feed. All these are normal features within 2025.I know they showed in a previous expo show that they had full motion zones displayed. I think that was like 2 years ago. just silence. Reolink has been out far too long to take this long for basic features. If they need help testing and QA this stuff, I'm game. I literally worked for a large manufacture doing this stuff. I want ReoLink to succeed, I think they have great products.
@davideotto No hard drive or POE. is the gist.I prefer the RLN36 over the Home Hub cuz you can add 3rd party cams to it per ONVIF or RTSP. When you add cams to the Home Hub the Cams GUI gets locked.
Super awesome footage dude!
It would be nice to have a 3 cam or a 2 cam option for Duo cams. Where it shows 2 duos as widescreen. or 3 cams with the 1 duo at top as wide screen and 2 cams below in a squared box. PC Client already does it, with 2 cam setting. Currently the only has a 4 cam option.
I think you need to look at what you are needing.Ultra wide is ultra...wide. But it usually has a very small vertical FOV. Unlike the 1240A, which had a huge FOV, but not as wide as the ultra-wide cams. I prefer the ultra wide if I'm trying to capture a large area. Then i use other models when I need more accurate view.
@user_603788725944329_603788725944329 Add them per their UID that will create the cloud link between your app and the cams.
It would be nice if "linked devices" would include more camera models. Almost all of the cams have spotlights and or sirens. Would be nice if we could active them in scenarios.
@user_830676047601836_830676047601836 I know on my reolink nvr, there is a auto scan feature when trying to add a cam to a channel. Does the Amcrest cam show up in that list?
@chopstix My cam shows charging when the sun is out. It shows a lightning bolt over the battery icon.It hasnt charged since we are heading into another winter storm, polar vortex. Lots of cloud cover. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow but cold but we will see. I did have a lot of fragmented recordings until I adjusted the monitor point timeout and raised my PIR to the max. it’s less now. But this is my backyard, it’s not a highly active area. It’s really to cover my front and back door.
@czp_609875358003264 The POE port shouldn't be connected to the network. You're probably getting IP conflict errors. Disconnect it and you should be ready to go!
@big_ted I have 9 cams on my home... so buying 9 ( at $170 a pop) of them would cost as much as a decent UPS. That would power up your router and switch, or just 1 NVR.
@czp_609875358003264 Adding the the previous user above mentioned. I have this same thing going on at 1 site. we have 2 NVRs on 1 network. We have a firewall, 2 large POE switches, Multiple Access Points, and multiple hardwired/wireless clients connected. All statics for NVRs and Cams. My subnet is 10.0.0.1/24 and the DHCP Pool is 10.0.0.100-254. I set the NVR static to .20 and .21, and the cams from .22-.50Turn off Auto Add cams to the NVR. Manually add each cam to which ever NVR you want. Then we have both monitors (1 connected to each NVR) sitting right next to each other, running at full time.
@joseph_1979 Brooo... this is looking awesome! If you all need alpha testers... sign me up bruh!
also linked to the Pro cams?!?Niiiice!
@reolink-alyson Hopefully its the POE version of the elite?!?
@joseph_1979
I hope the RLN36 get the update to support this.
@peterg_15714623025 I'm going to assume you would this is weird/old school way to add cams.. I agree. They need to make this option possible at minimum through the GUI.
Someone can enlighten me here... I've had a TrackMix POE for a few months and it operates really well... But for 1 thing... The zoom lens seems to have a mind of it's own. There isn't a secret way of controlling it? or adding logic to it? I have scenarios where it sees a car and it will zoom all the way out and not in. Why would I have 2 lenses looking at the same thing the same way, zoomed out? It doesn't make sense. The zoom lens does better on animals and people, this situation still happens though. Just doesn't seem like any reason for it to do that?
Just an FYI... The event list in the NVR does have an option for all cameras to be displayed, for event history. Which is awesome! Bring it to the phone app or the Windows/Mac APP please. The Apps need this feature, this is a basic feature for all other vendors.
