@user_822884704698612_822884704698612 Need more details on how its connected? using POE switch? You cant see your DHCP table within your router? There should be a list of connected clients within the router. If you could bring the camera down plug it up closer to the router with a short drop cable, that will confirm is there is a faulty cable or cam.
@joseph_1979 I think ReoLink banks on being affordable (hardware cost and no subs) and a very basic amount of features. There are times when I have thought about spending the money $$ on more expensive cameras and NVRs to get the "current" basic features. I have a mixed bag of cameras on my home for testing. I'm trying to figure out which brand I want to stick with. Fully customized motion zones. Not a do not record painting feature. WDR/HDR. Fully customized scenarios. At least give us a all cam motion display section within the phone app when connected to the a NVR/HH. When I click on the NVR/HH through the phone app, all the cams should live feed. All these are normal features within 2025.I know they showed in a previous expo show that they had full motion zones displayed. I think that was like 2 years ago. just silence. Reolink has been out far too long to take this long for basic features. If they need help testing and QA this stuff, I'm game. I literally worked for a large manufacture doing this stuff. I want ReoLink to succeed, I think they have great products.
@davideotto No hard drive or POE. is the gist.I prefer the RLN36 over the Home Hub cuz you can add 3rd party cams to it per ONVIF or RTSP. When you add cams to the Home Hub the Cams GUI gets locked.
You should be able to add a camera through the NVR GUI or the Reolink APP.Restricting it to the hooking it up to a monitor is out dated. The NVR's GUI that shown through the monitor should be close to what the web GUI looks like. Thanks,Jeff
@user_951254242668760_951254242668760 I use mine as full time recording... 24/7 For quick access my fam and I use the SD card playback. If we need more indepth footage, we pull from the NVR. my clients do the same as @joseph_1979 mentioned full time recording and a backup.
@user_961951840002251_961951840002251 This isnt done by the wireless cam or client. A few things here... check if you have band steering on your wireless router, that will cause this! Turn it off.If you have the Mini-Rssi option... turn it on the 5ghz at -73. This will manually boot you low signal clients off and force them to roam to the 2.4 band.
Super awesome footage dude!
I think you need to look at what you are needing.Ultra wide is ultra...wide. But it usually has a very small vertical FOV. Unlike the 1240A, which had a huge FOV, but not as wide as the ultra-wide cams. I prefer the ultra wide if I'm trying to capture a large area. Then i use other models when I need more accurate view.
It would be nice to have a 3 cam or a 2 cam option for Duo cams. Where it shows 2 duos as widescreen. or 3 cams with the 1 duo at top as wide screen and 2 cams below in a squared box. PC Client already does it, with 2 cam setting. Currently the only has a 4 cam option.
@user_603788725944329_603788725944329 Add them per their UID that will create the cloud link between your app and the cams.
I will post my experience here... I have not seen any reviews as of now. I have 1 spot that this will work for. I finally dropped the hammer on it.I will keep you all in the loop... @joseph_1979 and @Chopstix Kinda sucks I can't DM you too in a group chat.
@mgolczak_455919485563133 I hate to be the bearer of bad news... but you bought one of the cheapest cams they sell and complained about "mid-class reliable" and "premium" product? Bruh! They were nice enough to go the extra mile for you. Your assessment/review is way off base. You bought one of the cheapest cams they have and EXPECTED more than what you paid for.
I messaged an agent over chat and they said yes...
Ive read the non pro cams can be added to the pro NVRs.But what about the other way around? Pro Cams to Non Pro NVRs?ThanksKG!
@user_956463287464132_956463287464132 The late response is from the PIR sensor. That's how it works. Main reason I do not like battery powered cams. Sometimes you have no choice. But it still sucks tho.I have a PT Ultra too and do not have the issues everyone is talking about. My cam returns to its set point.
The event history is only shown when you have a monitor hooked up to the NVR. It doesnt show in the APPs, which I dont like, but hey it would be a great idea.
@reolink-alyson Ok.. I think I read It wrong...
Capture a full 4K wide view for situational awareness while the second lens delivers up to 6× hybrid zoom for close details (faces, license plates, or package labels) without losing the big picture
So its clear enough to read LP's but it will not record/snapshot, right?
@reolink-alyson I read that this cam does LPR... will that be written to the SD card? Or does it need the new NVR for this feature? Also can this be written to the current NVRs?Will there be a POE version?@Chopstix @joseph_1979
This is what I'm talking about. It's not a switch being compatible. It is a feature that makes the lag. IGMP Snooping, Loop Detection, STP, Multicast/Unicast feature... these are the things off the top of my head that I would investigate. I've been a network/wireless engineer for almost 20 years. I added my cameras manually to the NVR. Per a static and I entered the static into the NVR. IGMP Snooping would help with the scanning of devices across switches and VLAN. Maybe enabling that will help?
@reolink_333507142684871 All my cams are connected remotely across the LAN and S2S VPN. I do not have any cams connected directly to the NVR. Across the LAN port on the NVR.
