Adding a couple additional security features would make Reolink's cameras harder to hack:- Multiple-factor authentication, so the account can't be accessed easily if the password is compromised- Email/push notifications when the account is signed into or when settings are changed, so users can detect if their account is compromised
If you want 2FA, why don't you access the cameras by a VPN and require 2FA to access the VPN? 2FA doesn't seem to me to be a reasonable camera function.
Thanks for the suggestion, we'll try to improve it in the future products. You may subscribe our emails to get the news: https://reolink.campgn4.com/Subscribe-Us.
although not exactly a true security feature, if there can be an on-screen "tag" during live view, of how many concurrent connections, this will let the owners know if anyone else is logged on in real-time.
Any plans to add additional security for the Reolink account here (thus for the eventual cloud content too when/if it’s available for the rest of the world)? At least 2FA is mandatory and urgent to implement - like phone SMS and number verification or some of the already available 3-rd party Authenticators?
