My argus pro was set up to only record when it was motion activated which was about 50 times a day with people walking by. now it seems to be recording almost every minute but there isn't any motion when I look at playback. I only need the camera to record to my SIM card when there is some kind of motion in case I would have some damage or theft at my property. I don't know how to fix this...does anybody have any ideas? Thanks!
"Motion" is a strange concept. Although we tend to think of "motion" as things like people, automobiles, etc. Other things can fool the PIR sensor. Shadows moving across a lawn, for example. You can try lowering the sensitivity.
Glad to help you solve your problem. Here are some problems I need to confirm with you:1. Have you set the push or email notification for your camera? How did you know your camera was triggered frequently?2. You've installed the Micro SD card for your camera, right? There haven't recordings that stored in the SD card when you playback via Reolink App, right?3. Please check if the Micro SD card is compliant with the standard, refer to Choose Micro SD Card for Reolink Cameras.4. If you have another Micro SD card, you can replace the SD card for a check.
It can be leaves growed close to the camera. And wind blowing leaves trigger the camera frequently. Try to clean up the surrounding of the camera.
Yes, you can try lowing the sensitivity to reduce the false alarm. Refer to How to Avoid False Alerts on Reolink Cameras.
