when I click on playback, NOTHING happens, never plays anything.... only shows live view.... how worthless is that?
Probably helpful to identify which Reolink camera you have. Is there an SD card in the camera? What are the "record" settings? On my Reolink Android app, when I select an Argus camera, for example, and select "Playback", I get a display with calendar days and a timeline. I then select which day and which recording I want to view.
Thanks Crimp OnI am using the RLK8-420D4-5MP system, there is no sd card, it is all running from an NVR. I just installed the system today so the only date I have is... today, and yes, I see that. And there are several recordings on each camera and NONE of them will playback from the phone. If I click on one, it changes to "loading stream, Then it stops and does nothing.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Oh, cr**p. I have the same cameras, but put SD Cards in them instead of using an NVR. (They are GREAT cameras!)Wish I could help, but the issue seems to be with the Android app and the NVR.The web site indicates that this NVR package works with Mac/Windows clients and with a web browser. What happens when you connect to the NVR with a web browser?Do you have a PC or Mac that can load the Reolink client software?I know this isn't help "solving the problem". Sometimes it is useful to know if one type of access works and another does not, or if they all have the same issue.
Please do not worry about that. Could you please send an email to support@reolink.com? Our support team will check it for you soon. Thanks.
Hi Crimp onI have a PC, running Win10 64bit. It can see all the cameras, it just won't stay running long enough to have any value. I haven't tried to connect via a web browser... guess I will try that next. If I can figure that one out. It bothers me that not only does the "client" software not work, but the app for the android is completely worthless, it won't playback anything even after I changed the bit rate as suggested..... I'm at a loss
Thanks for the suggestion Crimp On.... I can access the playback from the Web address. Great, at least one thing works. But what good is it if I can't view playback when I'm not home and only have my phone? So far the "tech support" is worthless also, I get emails requesting info I already sent and no sign of resolution
