Motion Dection - false alarms due to light
-
I just purchased an RLC-511W camera for the outdoors. I’m trying to determine the best Sensitivity setting for motion detection. Finding it to be overly sensitive to light. Everything light related ... Car lights, turning on a light in the house, shadows changing on sunny days etc. I have a corner lot and whenever a car turns down my road it triggers a detection.
I want sensitivity enough to detect critters entering the motion zones.
What sensitivity setting are people using at night to avoid car lights triggering detection?
What sensitivity setting are people using during the day to avoid changing shadows triggering detection? -

???? Wrong Link?
Your link refers to this thread. -
Haha ummm.... Bump.
Yup circular loops there John.
I also would like to know how to limit light changes that cause false detection.
Motion is detected every sunrise and sunset.
Firmware programming should hard code ignores for such detectable events. -
In the past, it was the tradition when people use to recall the memories they use albums but in present time we use alarms to make us feel present. But now due to the advancement in samedayessay.net technology people avoid greeting but they give a text message on WhatsApp. This has destroyed the families and makes them far apart.

Somewhat helpful links on motion detection. Still think light sensitivity is too sensitive.
