Hello-I am having an issue with very low audio level (around -35-45 dB) on all my reolink cameras. I have Two RLC-410, two RLC-520, and one E1 wifi model. All connected to a 8 ch Reolink nvr.Every camera has a very low audio level. Even when people are talking in normal voices within 10-15 feet of the camera, the audio level is so low you can barely hear it even at 100% volume. Playback on different devices, playback directly from the camera vs NVR, and downloads of recordings are all the same. To really make out the voices, you have to import the audio into an editor and increase the gain 25-30 dB.I can't believe this is the designed level, but I also can't find anywhere it can be adjusted. These are all new cams, but this is a deal breaker if I can't get it working.Again, I'm not trying to eavesdrop on people across the street, but I should be able to hear what people are saying in videos from my own living room with the camera 10-15 feet away.
Never mind, think I misread your post. But I can hear conversation across the street.2.jpg
Yes, I saw that for two-way audio. But as you indicate, that isn't my problem. No way could I hear anything across the street.I have to think it is some setting, the cameras' audio recoding can't be that bad or no one would buy them.
My RLC-520 picks up people talking 40ft away. (indistinct, but clearly there).I would take this up with Reolink support (support@reolink.com).Since the problem manifests both on individual cameras and on the NVR, "something is amiss."
Ok, our colleague will help you solve the problem.
