I expected the camera passwords to be automatically entered when I log into my Reolink account in the mobile app. Unless I missed something, every time I setup the app, I have to enter the password for all my cameras.

Do you mean the login password for the camera?
If you successfully accessed it once, it's unnecessary to put the password again.
        It will be remembered.

I mean, after installing the app, I login with my Reolink account but then I still have to enter each camera's password (at least once). On some smart devices it's a real pita using a remote control with an onscreen keyboard.

During setup, when adding cameras, the password has to be entered for every camera, but AFTER SETUP, when simply opening the app, it does not ask for passwords, correct?

My Android app works this way. Add cameras once, access over and over.

I want to make sure I understand this right. Each camera needs its own password, is this correct? And what if I forget the password of just one camera, I would only need to reset the one camera correct?
I'm talking about argus 2 cameras.
                Thanks

Yes, each camera has its own password, you can set up all your cameras with the same password, if you forget the camera password you can factory reset the camera by press the camera reset button.
