When I connect the solar panel the Argus Pro Camera the battery indicator jumps immediately to 100%. This can't be right because when I disconnect it goes back the percentage it was before connecting the solar panel. This way I can never be sure of the battery status when connected to the solar panel. It seems like it artificially sets the status of the battery to 100% whenever it is connected to the solar panel.
Any update on this one?
All electronic devices are not supposed to work under over voltage, which will shorten the lifespan of the product. For battery products, the higher the battery level, the higher the voltage. Solar charging is a constant process of charging. If the camera works constantly with battery level over 90%, it will shorten the life of the camera. So we set the charging capacity limit to around 85% out of this consideration. That's to say, when you connect the camera to solar panel, the battery level shows as fully charged when it reaches around 85% and you don't need to worry about it.
Thank you Cynthiadoes this means that if the battery will go under 85% to for example 75% it will show in the app as 75%?Cheers
