@mstatcham @Saegis Sorry for the inconvenience caused! Our cameras have to use Flash when they are watched via web browsers.

Flash will dissappear more and more. What will happen then?
            Any plans?

We will have HTML5 for replacing Flash in the future.
              Sorry for any possible inconvenience.

When is the HTML5 support ready (any ETA please)? Adobe Flash is dying (basically it is gone already). I am using a RL422W.

Is there any update on this? Flash is officially DEAD, as in no longer available from next year. Most browsers block flash by default and rightly so because it's a security nightmare.

I've just bought two Reolink cameras (RLC-410, RLC-420) and had planned to buy more, particularly from the new 4K range when it's available, but I'm disappointed to discover that Flash is being used so I'm re-thinking that plan.

Are you going to provide firmware updates soon to support HTML5 in existing IP camera ?? !

I have RLC-410S and RLC-411S IP cameras and need to know whether you will be providing firmware updates to
make them functional. I am loosing the ability to use a web browser as software is being updated in my computers and thereby eliminating Adobe Flash.

Are you going to provide updates or should I abandon Reolink ?RLC-410S and RLC-411S

Please don't worry, we are working to make the webrtc, which will also support accessing the camera via web browsers.

                          Can we have beta?

Also, I can see my 410 W on web browser but I an't see my Argus Pro.
Also, my 410 W only works when connected via ethernet RJ45. It will not work wirelessly.

Sorry, we don't have a beta at the moment. The battery-power cameras like Argus Pro dose not support viewing via Web browser.
As for the wirelessly working issue, could you please report this issue to the support team: support@reolink.com? Or send us a request in link here https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

Our support team will help you solve it soon. Thanks.

                                Dear Jan,

Thanks for choosing our Reolink product.

Please don't worry, our senior engineer is developing the web RTC client.
We will release the new client before the flash ended.
Once there is an update, it will be released on our official website.
So far, there is no exact info on the date.

                                Thanks for your understanding.

Flash support is dead in Chrome and Safari.

                                  Still no HTML5.

You do realize that this thread has been going on since 2018 and the only reply customers receive is that your engineers are working on it. Your first response from Bob the Moderator was in June of 2018 and still no answer. If it takes you over 2 years to develop something that uses html5 instead of adobe flash, your development curve is quite a bit slow for improvements or fixes to your products.

I've read several threads asking this question and everyone receives the same standard answer that "[your] engineers are working on it." It seems you should be able to provide a bit more detail around where you are at with development rather than that generic answer or "there is no exact info on the date." You now have 21 weeks and 6 days (153 days, 3,672 hours, 220,320 minutes) to develop the html5 version for your customers (that includes me) or we will no longer be in support for adobe flash for the products we purchased from you.

If you cannot develop an html5 version in time will you provide a refund to your customers? Can you answer more details about your development of an html5 version rather than the normal spin of sooner or later? Can you provide any dates for a beta version of the html5 version? Can you tell there are a lot of frustrated people out there who are looking for answers rather than the non-answers you keep providing?

I, for one, will be requesting a refund if you cannot deliver any html5 code by years end and i would suggest that others do the same. This is ridiculous that you cannot develop anything in over 2 years!

So, it has been 1,154 days since Adobe announced EOL for Flash (July 25, 2017), and only 102 days until EOL (January 1, 2021) and NO RESPONSE from Reolink other than "our engineers are working on it." SOOO, I have three specific questions for Reolink,

                                            1) Does it really take Reolink engineers this long to enable cameras to work with HTML5?
                                            2) Why is it that Reolink cannot share any information on work they are doing to date other than a canned answer?
                                            3) Assuming they are close to an answer (and that's a big assumption) why won't they allow some customers to be beta testers for HTML5?
