Hi, has anyone used a 64Gb card with their E1 Zoom?

Just got a new camera and card and the E1 says its not formatted, but format attempts "succeed" but don't change anything.
Then realised it might be a FAT32 vs ExFAT problem, so used a tool on windows to force it to FAT32.
Same issue, camera says its unformatted & 0Gb.

For info the card is a Kingston Endurance 64Gb. (Arrived as exFAT).

Not sure if its general incompatibility, size, format, faulty card, faulty camera.
I haven't got another sd card to test with right now.

Hello, generally the camera can be compatible with a 64GB SD card, but if the SD card cannot be formatted successfully, it is recommended that you exchange another SD card to test.

I have the same microsd (Kingston Endurance 64Gb).
          Unfortunately is not working:
          - is formatted as xFAT.
          - Windows 10 cant format as FAT32. Hence we have to use a 3rd party app.

Did you find a solution ?
          Anyone tried Kingston Endurance 32GB?
Another 8gb MicroSD is working fine...

We are sorry that our cameras can only support the FAT32 SD card. You can consider changing to a FAT32 format SD card.

Do you have any recommended MicroSd for outdoor use?

Kingston Endurance 32Gb should work, right?

I think E1 and RLC-520 models both support up to 32GB cards. 64 GB cards are not supported at all.

You can choose the SD card per this suggestion: https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360005143453-Choose-Micro-SD-Card-for-Reolink-Cameras

Probably the site must be updated or be more clear:

All Reolink cameras support a 64GB SD card, but there may be some compatibility issue between the camera and the SD card. May I know which kind of SD card you are using?

I am using Kingston Endurance 64Gb.

Is the camera supporting xfat or only fat32 ?
Windows 10 does not have an option to format 64GB card as fat32

The camera only supports FAT32. Can you format the SD card in this way? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jV1u-x6XhuM

32GB cards work fine, they can be easily formatted as fat32 through windows 10.
64GB cards cannot be formatted as FAT32

As you said the camera supports only 32GB cards.

                            Thank you
                            Best Regards

                              Hi

I have had the same issue with Kingston Endurance 64GB (SDCE/64GB). Impossible to format in the Reolink camera. I have RLC-511W & Lumus cameras.

RLC-511W identifies that there are a memorycard inserted, Lumus dosent.

Windows it self can´t format 64GB memorycards as FAT32, with the Windows program Ridgecrop FAT32 GUI format (Can´t add full url here but similar to: ridgecrop_co_uk _index_htm?guiformat_htm ) I could format the Kingston Endurance to FAT32 and then it is possible to use it in the camera, but still impossible to format there.

So I ordered a SanDisk High Endurance 64GB (SDSQQNR-064G-GN6IA) and that one works like it should. Formattable in the cameras.

"Just for fun" I also ordered a SanDisk 128GB (SDSQQNR-128G-GN6IA) and that one also works with formatting in the camera, and also saves the video to it.

Probably the SanDisk High Endurande 256GB & 512GB also works, but I haven´t tested them.

So either there are som kind of differences between memorycard manufacturers. Or just some incompatibility/bug in the Reolink camera firmware that you (Reolink) should take a closer look at.

Today two new RLC-511WA arrived and I mounted SanDisk 128GB (SDSQQNR-128G-GN6IA) in them. The memory card was possible to format and worked directly with out any problem.
