      There does not seem to be any way to get the Home Hub to record in Clear resolution rather than Fluent. There is little point to the Home Hub, excellent though its facilities are, if it can't record in Clear resolution as fluent resolution is not good enough to decipher car registration plates or to identify people's faces. Is it likely that this will change?

          @nick_2679293511 I have the Home Hub Pro and it records in both fluent and clear mode. Just click on the icon (low or high) and you get the high res playback.

            I have the standard home hub and can access both clear and fluent recordings via playback for each camera that is connected.
            However, through the event history in the home hub, there is no choice to select the recording quality.

            What I am not clear about is when you select the camera underneath the heading for the Home Hub, and then click on Playback, are you seeing the recordings on the SD card in the camera, or the SD cards in the Home Hub. I had thought these were the recordings in the camera.

            When you look at Event History in the HH the recordings are only the fluent quality, and there does not seem to be any way of accessing a higher resolution than that. For security reasons I am not comfortable with only being able to get at the recordings in the camera, because that could be attacked, whereas the Home Hub can be locked away.

                @nick_26792935116 if you are watching playback from the Android application, the default is that the recordings are being played from the Home Hub (HH) HDD. However, there is the HH icon (enclosed in red) and if you click on it you shall be playing recordings from the SD of the camera (icon changes to SD).



                Yes, if you click on any thumbnails in event history, the playback resolution is fluent. This is normally used for a quick look. If you need higher resolution you need to go to the respective camera on HH. We told them to provide the clear mode on history too.
