How ColorX Technology Turn Night into Day
Reolink App v4.41 Released
Hi! About a month ago I purchased your camera and NVR. I set it up (PoE), works fine, but today I noticed something. I clipped part of a video this morning, and the audio is terrible. It sounds like "wind" is blowing super fast, you can't hear anything else. Just that wind sound. And when clipped video is stored, it's in 4:3 picture size. Is this suppose to be like this?Hope to hear from support soon!
Sorry for the inconvenience. Could you please send a video to email@example.com? We will check it for you soon. Thanks.
Hi, I sent my video clip to support. Hope to hear soon!
Hi! Can you tell me if this microphone will be ok for my camera?https://www.amazon.com/Microphone-Security-Surveillance-Sensitive-Amplified/dp/B0769RYBTBAnd do I need to connect it to my NVR as well or does it only need to connect with camera?
May I know if you want to get the audio output from your NVR? If it is, you may refer to the following two methods to get sound output for Reolink NVR.Method 1. Attach the NVR to a monitor/TV (needs speaker on the hardware) via the HDMI port. The resolution of the monitor/TV should be 1920*1080 or 1080*720, or the NVR will not have a sound output if the monitor/TV has other resolution used.Method 2. Plug a loudspeaker box into the audio out jack at the back of the NVR to get the sound output for the cameras added to the NVR.
I'll use this topic to ask about my camera and NVR warranty. Do I have to register both devices to be able to use warranty if something happens in future? I just registered my old Argus 2 that I bought in July. But I can't find order details for the second camera and NVR under my Reolink account under "orders".
The order number is required in the process of registration. You can't find the order information under your Reolink account because you did not log in to the account when you placed the order. If you don't mind, please provide the email address or consignee name to us for a check.
My username is yoco007my email is firstname.lastname@example.orgBut I'm pretty sure I was logged in, because I purchased directly from your site.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Order number #321895 for 2 items(RLC-423x1 and RLN8-410x1).
You are welcome. Thank you for supporting Reolink. Have a nice day:)
So I finally got my package from Amazon, and today I connected pretty much identical microphone as this one https://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Microphone-Surveillance-Monitoring-A90/dp/B00826YIP2?ie=UTF8&dpID=41x1HaeJO9L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_S with this connector https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Adapter-Connector-Security-System/dp/B0066BGUWO/ref=sr_1_21?s=security-surveillance&ie=UTF8&qid=1470295025&sr=1-21&keywords=rca+male+to+male and to my surprise there's no audio. It's pretty much same as before. Audio is enabled in camera settings. I even tried rebooting camera and it doesn't work.
I forgot to say, I only plugged in one cable. Must both of them be connected to camera?
RLC-423 can not supply power to the microphone you use. So one of the cable of the microphone should be plugged into the audio in jacket of the camera and the other one should be connected its power source to power up the microphone to work. Thanks!
So the power cable from microphone needs to be connected with different power source, or can I connect it with power cable on camera as is in this picture? https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360008587214-Install-the-Microphone-for-RLC-423?source=search&auth_token=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJhY2NvdW50X2lkIjoxMjM0MzA4LCJ1c2VyX2lkIjozODQ4Njg4ODY1MTQsInRpY2tldF9pZCI6MTc3MzYxLCJjaGFubmVsX2lkIjo2MywidHlwZSI6IlNFQVJDSCIsImV4cCI6MTU3MDA5NTQ2NX0.mc7zhMmgQ-GHhKXUIE4Hwls0_SXY_2JI4JNpieLkN5E
