I've bought two Argus 2 security camera's a week ago and placed it facing my front yard. The motion sensor are configured to be very sensitive, so it should detect cars up to 15 meters and people up to 9 meters. In the example screenshot I parked my car in front of the house, got out and walked straight ahead into the garage (over the red tiles), but the camera didn't detect me. When I walk past my house (right to left or left to right) the video clip starts with me walking in the zone indicated by the blue circle. It looks like the camera only detects motion when objects are in the center of the screen.I'm really not satisfied by these results. Is there a way that this can be improved?
Sorry that I didn't find the example screenshot attached with your post. Could you please take a screenshot of this post and send an email to support@reolink.com? Our technical support will check it for you soon. Thanks.
Your camera's detection range is only in the center of the area, so the setting may be to avoid detection errors. If you have other needs, you can watch the v380 official website camera, maybe you can meet you.
Hi, our two side of the PIR would be sensitivity then walking straight toward the camera, so whether you can provide the picture where you mount this camera and provide us a short video this camera recorded to support to check the issue? You can send the request to support@reolink.com, thank you!
