Older NVR 8/16 channel Firmware Updates

I have an older 8 and 16 channel nvr along with the slightly newer RLN8-410 E. When (if ever) will the slightly older models get firmware similar to that of the RLN8-410 E? On the newer one I can see the videos in Chrome without the need for a plugin install, it has the video clip feature, and is able to add/remove the watermark.

Just wondering if there was a firmware for the original 8 and 16 channel that provides the same features.

Thank you for the reply. Trust me, I check for updates about every day. I just know the newer 8 channel looks identical on the outside as the older 8 channel, so I didn't know if it would be very hard to add those features to the older model. That might show my ignorance, as I know the internals may be radically different, but I wasn't sure.

I see that an update for the 16 channel was just released that is able to do what I was hoping for. Hopefully the 8 channel will be soon to follow!
