One of my Argus2 with solar panel power shows off-line with a dead (empty) battery icon. Other cameras I have are fine and fully charged. Is there a way to figure out if the solar panel is bad or if the battery has failed?

Swap the battery in this Argus2 with the battery in a different Argus2. If the replacement battery also does not charge, then the solar panel is not working.
If the original battery does not charge when placed in the charger that came with the Argus2, then it has failed.

        Or... am I missing something?

No...didn't miss anything at all. Thought of that process myself but was thinking maybe another way with out getting the ladders out etc. The one camera with the issue is pretty easy to get to and thought maybe I could check for voltage off the solar panel while receiving sunlight. That would also give the answer. Good voltage from the panel bad battery. No voltage from the panel: bad panel
