The birdhouse is always a good option to hide outdoor security cameras.

Speaking of hiding: Since all Reolink cameras come in signal white, why isn't there a black cover for other models than the Argus 2? I have a RLC-511W and a RLC-511 and like to make them less visible, will there be a black rubber cover like the ones for the Argus 2?

Wow, cool post. I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real hard work to make a great article... but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though

i also want a camouflage/black cover for my reocams. i got a Lumus and squeeze it in an spare cover from my old Arlo 2.
not perfect, but works. Argus 3 pro doesnt fit 😞
a solution for my RLC-410W would be fine..

                PS: sorry for my english!

I, personally, want security cameras to be a deterrent, so the more visible the better. Is there a reason why some bottles of model airplane paint would not accomplish what you want? (at much lower cost and available today at any craft store or Amazon)

What if you paint the camera black, but the camera gets an issue that is covered by warranty?
Will having it painted void that warranty?

I am also interested in this discussion.
Some of my camera locations are good to have visible as a deterrent, while others, such as in an outdoor relaxation area adjacent to the house, I prefer them to fulfill their function when we are out, but to be also discreet and aesthetic when we are home or entertaining friends.
I too have thought about painting them but assume I will have to wait until the warranty period expires as doing so may make a warranty claim difficult if needed.
Slip on covers would solve the problem and I would certainly buy them if they were available.

In an outdoor relaxation setting, I like something similar to the birdhouse that started this discussion.
For example, a fake birdhouse up against the wall (or whatever the camera is attached to). The camera can be inside with the lens blocking the hole so that birds are not tempted to enter. Or, a hanging plant with the camera peeking out from under it or around the side of it.

Sorry, if you paint the camera black, it will not be covered by warranty. You can check it here:https://reolink.com/warranty-and-return/. And I'll forward all of your suggestion to our product manager.
