Hi, I’ve recently installed Poe cameras and trying to tune down the sensitivity of the motion detection and I’ve noticed something happening on one of my cameras. The one pointing into my back garden doesn’t really trigger so I know that the sensitivity is ok, but tonight I noticed that rain is detected as streaks of light (maybe a nearby light cashes this effect) when it’s dark, so it went off quite a few times due to the rain being heavy.

Maybe this would be better developed in the API so it can be combined with a weather app or rain sensor through a home automation system, but it would be good to automatically turn down the sensitivity at night time when it’s raining and turn it back up when it stops

If your camera is with person/vehicle detection, you can upgrade your camera to the latest firmware. With the new firmware, you can adjust the alarm delay to filter the raindrop alerts.

You can download the firmware here, Download Center – Reolink.
