      Hello,

I have a a system with an RLN8-410 NVR using both RLC-510WA and E1 Pro Cameras.
The recording behavior of the RLC-510WA cameras is predictable based upon settings. But the E1 Pro Cameras have a mind of their own.
      Example:
First of all, I do not yet have sd cards in the cameras, but all cameras occupy channels on the NVR. I have all recording OFF unless set to ON within a particular SCENE. And, if they are ON in a SCENE, it is only for Motion, not continuous.
For my SCENE when we are home, all recording on all cameras is set to OFF. And indeed, all cameras are not recording.
Now, here is where it gets strange. If I activate a SCENE that has some cameras ON and some OFF, if the camera is a 510WA, it will either be ON or OFF as specified; Correct. But if the camera is a E1 Pro, it will start continuous recording whether or not it is ON or OFF as specified by the SCENE; Incorrect in 2 ways. First, if it is set to OFF it should not record at all because recording is set to OFF. And second, if it is set to ON, it should only record at motion. But they record continuously.

Why are the E1 Pro cameras not responding to the specified parameters like the RLC-510WA cameras do?
Is this a bug and can be fixed with a firmware update?

Please ask if something is not clear in my explanation.

      Thank you,
      Dave

Firstly, check your recording schedule of the E1 pro. When you enable the record button in the scene mode, it will record to the HDD according to the recording schedule under the NVR.

Then, you can also try to update your E1 pro with the latest firmware. Please find the latest firmware on our download center according to the camera model and hardware version. Download Center – Reolink

I've gone through the NVR and selected a camera that is working as expected and selected the option "apply to other cameras". I'll see how that works out.
            Thank you for the reply.
