Hi all! Thank you for the feedback in our Client 8.7.0 beta. We have fixed some bugs in the Client. Now the new Client 8.7.1 version is available on our download center. You can download the Client here, Download Center – Reolink. We heard your voices in beta Client v.8.7.0 that the UI in the download list window is not user-friendly. Therefore, in this official version 8.7.1, we decided to remove this update. What are your opinions of the download list window? Please let me know if you have any feedback.
@reolink-fiona At what point should "check updates" within the client be able to find and download this version? I thought i'd leave the version on my Mac to see if it could update itself, but so far, almost a week after your announcement, I still get "This is the most current version available." if I manually select the "Check Updates" menu option and although I've got "Automatic Client Update" selected in preferences, I've still got 8.7.0
@liam_93721152131241 Usually, we will put the new Client on the download center earlier. For the online upgrade in the Client, it will be later. As for the version 8.7.1 update, it will be available on the online upgrade in the Client in the next two weeks. Different devices may differ.If you want to know the latest earlier, you can stay tuned with us. We will also have the Beta version in our community before the official version.
@reolink-fiona When windows client runs on Windows 7 that works inside of VirtualBox, - the program just shows huge black square.
