Hi, I have 5 cameras type 811A as an alarmsystem at my cottage.
What I would like to do is to get an option to get the spotlight triggered by an event also in daylight, not just at night time. Just like the sirene. Even better if the spotlight can flash during daytime - that would be great. So an intruder could visually be alerted to go away. (This as an option to the sirene - that I can not risk get off by a false alarm/event.). Hope this can be implemented 🙂

Hi, now you can set the spotlight to be on when a person/vehicle is detected or scheduled. It will be on when it is dark. If your room is dark in the daytime, you can set the spotlight on at a specific time. It will show more efficient if the spotlight is on in dark.

If you don't have the option, you can try to upgrade the RLC-811A with the latest firmware. You can download the new firmware on our download center, Download Center – Reolink.

@reolink-fiona thank you for your reply. But you don't answer my request. The functions you beskrive I am aware off. My cameras are placed outside the cottage so it is natural light at daytime. My request is that the spotlight can function as a scare off in daylight in the same way as the sirene. Becauce I can not use the sirene - due to consideration off false alarms and neighbours that would not like this.

I simply want an option to let the spotlight to be able to operate in the exactly same manner as the sirene. Regardless of day or night.
I have several D-Link cameras, and they have this ability.
