We recently switched from Axis to Reolink (RLC-823A) – great camera, great camera and (except for the missing 21x optical zoom) only one thing we can't figure out or find...

Is there any way to use PTZ functions via simply selecting a point on screen? No matter what: finger-touch on the smartphone, mouse or trackpad click on the PC to move the camera to the point of interest – anything would (im my opinion) be more intuitive and faster than the PTZ controls via arrow-up-down and so on...

@user_655455179530328_655455179530328 Unfortunately so far it is based on the directional arrows. But this is a good point and I will raise it with support.

Digital zoom on non ptz camera is already doing that. So I don't see why it can't do the same for the ptz camera. Heck, my 10+ years old Canon ptz camera does just that. Point the cusrsor and click, the ptz camera will pant/tilt to center that location. Using arrow is too clunky and slow. This ought to be a high priority item for Reolink.

A related issue - the Windows desktop app does not respond well if at all to arrow finger touches on a tablet (in my case Surface Pros). It would be nice if the app better supported tablet use including point & click
