      Hi,
I am using several Reolink 410, 510 Cams and use them connected to my Synology Surveillance Station.
Somehow I am unable to setup the system so that it only records upon motion detection (would prefer on camera detection).
Surveillance keeps recording 24/7 no matter whatI try.....

Any step by step or hints about this?
      Thx.
      Jan

The Synology web page seems to indicate there are ways to set up recording only on Alarms (motion?)
          www(dot)synology(dot)com/en-us/surveillance/feature/recording_playback

(Maybe some day Reolink will let users include URLs in a post)

yes of course there are, but Synology seems to have trouble with the Reolink-Cams in terms of recording only on moving-detection.
            Synology keeps recording 24/7....

Hi, there. Motion detection is supported on 410-5MP and 510A cameras. To setup motion detection recording on Synology NAS, you may like to refer to the instructions on
            https://www(dot)synology(dot)com/en-global/knowledgebase/Surveillance/help/SurveillanceStation/event_detection_motion
            Hope this could help.
