No Zoom Feature available on Reolink client or app when connecting TrackMix to it via an NVR.

@roccojay12_464195931816139 You lose certain functionalities when connecting the POE camera directly to the NVR. And this is one of them. If you connect the trackmix to a PoE switch rather than directly to NVR then you can connect to camera and can zoom.

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Do I then loose the ability to record 24/7 when not connecting to a NVR ?

@roccojay12_464195931816139 Yeah, unfortunately I have the same issue and it seems weird. To me it seems a bit silly to have less usability by using Reolink's NVR. The functionality between Reolink cameras to Reolink NVR to Reolink Client, should be seamless. But it clearly isn't. Although we can zoom while directly accessing the NVR, we can't while accessing the NVR through the Reolink Client. It's like how if we are using the NVR we can't set the pan limits of the trackmix or the time it takes to return to the guard point after it stops tracking motion. Instead we need to disconnect the trackmix from the NVR and instead connect it directly to the network and then make the changes using the mobile app and then reconnect it back to the NVR. Should be more seamless. There's no reason I can imagine that would justify having different functionality with the various control methods, especially considering they are all capable of having their firmware updated and the client is capable of being updated.

Hi, I have the same issue. Any solution to this issue? Say I put in a POE switch like suggested by and the trackmix is not connected directly to the NVR, how do I setup the network to record? Will the NVR detect the cameras on the network? -
@user_632093499404336_632093499404336 You can connect it to the NVR. If you do scan and the NVR doesn't find it the add it using its UID. Make sure that the NVR and the camera are on the same network.

Any update on this? Really shouldn't loose functionality when adding a recommended for best performance piece of hardware. It'd be good to have this available, and since you already seem to have this functionality with the 811a cameras it should be doable.
