Day/night mode auto switch back and forth

I got an E1 Pro recently, set Day and Night to Auto. Every night when I turn off all the lights, the camera will switch back and forth between day and night mode 3 times. Then it will repeat switching back and forth 3 times about every half an hour, until the morning when it is bright enough. Is there something wrong with the hardware? The software is already on the latest version.

@jaytang It seems that there is a light source which is toggling between day and night modes. If the camera is reachable, can you take it inside a room and check it out for a night?

What was the outcome after adjusting the black & while and color switching threshold?

Do not have an E1 Pro, but this sound not right. I would contact support at reolink.com (we cannot type URLs into this stupid editor).
Explain the problem and ask for a replacement.

Could there be some light source that is confusing the camera? (some light that goes on and off during the night?)

I had the same problem but resolved it by adjusting the "Black & White and Color Switching Threshold" under the Advanced Display settings.
