How ColorX Technology Turn Night into Day
Reolink App v4.41 Released
Hi. I tried my WiFi doorbell with my existing wiring. The transformer/chime box buzzes and the doorbell is stuck on a solid white ring and doesn’t do anything when pressed or connect to network. So I need to add the jumper, but which wires do I need to jump? (The white ones are the ones that go to the doorbell outside). BTW this is the UK - brown is live (not sure in same in other countries).
@autopilot Blue and Brown feed the primary input of the transformer which for UK is 240V. You need to connect the video doorbell power to the secondary output of the transformer (where you have the 2 yellow cables). Ensure that the voltage across the secondary is between 12 and 24V as otherwise the doorbell will not power on.
@autopilot Hello, I have been looking everywhere for a transformer (including housing) or a mains wired doorbell that would allow me to connect a Reolink video doorbell. Did you manage to get your setup working satisfactorily? Can you tell me what model transformer you used? Did it come complete with the housing?Any help / information would be appreciated before I buy the doorbell
