Hello, just sharing my "experience":
did the following to exclude errors on my side:- internet provider / telekom has updated my DSL to > 250Mbit contract / 40Mbit upload- disconnected ALL LAN connections (&16 channel router 1Gbit) beyond my Router connecting only 1x 8 switch 1Gbit with connection yellow to router only; 2nd is NVR 3rd is PC (desktop Windows 10)=> issue is the same! screen frozen, clock & no picture in sharp mode (sound is transmitted in "realtime (1sec delay)- disconnected the Windows10PC and connected Laptop instead - same therereverted back on both machines to 8.8.5 version which is the last to me known working on my setupso somethings changed trastically on reolink side which i ask you pls to solve as i read in the forums many concerns too about update & functionality itself of the newer versions released
REOLINK, pls provide solution for this kind of "updating & software ma*s" which cost me in total now 3 hours to "INVESTIGATE" that it is not on my side relatedthank you
@defcon_274148371144872 Try to install DirectX 9 as it seems to be using old libraries. I had black screen and just audio in clear mode and this has solved the issue. I just troubleshoot it within minutes.
@joseph_1979 installing DirectX9 did work and the issue is solved!so i suggest to include this is reolink´s testing / releasing process that it is being secured that upgrades or updates do work on machines that may have no DX9 or else installed which is usually the case when running a purchased WIN10PRO...Many thx for this advise!
@defcon_274148371144872 You're welcome. The programmers used the D3D9 libraries. This is what I did too and solved the issue.
