How do I get my phone to ring when the doorbell is pushed as when I'm out and someone press's the bell it doesn't ring so I have missed them push notifications are on and everything is enabled please help

@mrstsims_681782004461724 Calling your smartphone is not yet available on Reolink doorbell. Only push/email notifications are available.

@mrstsims_681782004461724 Getting your phone to ring when someone pushes the doorbell may not be available soon. Instead, our team is adding a special notification sound option for users to distinguish doorbell button pressing notifications from normal camera detection ones. This feature will be available on app version 4.40, which is expected to be released in late September this year.

When the app is released, I will definitely publish the news to let you know.

@joseph_1979 So why is it called a "doorbell" camera if it doesn't have a doorbell function ?

More importantly how do I get an alarm to sound on my phone when the door-no-bell camera is triggered ?

I thought I had done this by selecting "Buzzer" - but no sound emerges from my phone.

It's essential I receive an audible notification ..... I can't spend all day looking at my phone, waiting to catch a brief visual notification pop-up (blink and I've missed it).

@user_730193895526564_730193895526564 When I first saw the doorbell I went straight to its specs on their site and this was missing. So I immediately submit a request to Reolink support asking them when voip calling shall be implemented. They told me not yet in their plan. In my opinion calling a smartphone is a must have for a doorbell.
