I have an E1 Zoom and setup recording on my PC via the app. It does ok for a bit but then eventually the recordings start to be bad and corrupted when playing the video files. It gets really choppy and skips a bunch of seconds and/or the video has large sections that just shows green or weird pixelated rainbow colors. This camera is connected via ethernet. I have an old C1 Pro that is using 2.4ghz and all its recordings seems to be fine. Any ideas?

@decko999_126212170571978 Which Client version are you using now?

@reolink-lorenz I'm on 8.11.0

@decko999_126212170571978 I am assuming that your PC is on the same subnet of the cameras. Have two suggestions.
- Use the provided 1m cat5 cable and connect the camera to your BB router. Connect the PC to the other port of the BB router. Connect to the E1 zoom and start recording. If the recorded clips are fine then you have an issue with the cable/network.
- Connect the E1 zoom to the BB router using WIFI and record various clips. Check the clips. You can use VLC.
Is this a new E1 zoom? And this is the first time you are recording the video to your PC on this model? -
@decko999_126212170571978 Thanks for the info. Our team is now looking into the issue.

@joseph_1979 Thanks for the help. This was connected via ethernet directly back to my router. I wasn't using wireless. This is a new E1 zoom I assume. I just bought it from Amazon. This is my first E1 zoom so it's the first time using this to record.
Probably related to this is that both my reolink cameras (the e1zoom and c1 pro) both eventually get to a point where the client software stutters the video and I have to restart the feed. It seems that at some point (usually a day) the stream stops working properly. However, the recording on my c1pro still seems to be ok for some reason even if the live feed is stuttering. -
@decko999_126212170571978 Is your computer running the Reolink client connected to same network to which the cameras are connected to? When the issue is happening can you let us know the CPU/memory usage using the task manager?

I'm using the 8.8.5 version, because the latest version only causes problems and has a lot of bugs. Also the video quality is terrible compared to the old client version. I'm waiting for a fixed version. Hopefully soon something will happen.
