Firmware: v3.0.0.2033_23041300
Hardware: DB_566128M5MP_W
Getting person detection events for cars moving across the frame at a distance but a person doing the same isn't detected. Created a mask to mask out the road and still getting the same detections. Unless this is a bug, person detection is pretty useless and will need to be moved off camera as it's far too unreliable in the current state.Reply QuoteShare2- Share this Post

@john_56093788144 Add 1s or 2s in the alarm delay setting (under Alarm Settings) and check again.

@john_56093788144 John, you may contact support directly and ask our team to take a further look into the detection settings.

@joseph_1979 @Reolink-Lorenz I'm having this same problem. When I walk right in front of the doorbell, motion is detected but person is never triggered. I have a 1 second delay set.
Visitor is triggered when I ring the doorbell.
I have the same firmware and hardware as @john_56093788144Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@user_684184404328677_684184404328677 What is your setting on smart detection under Alarm Settings? You also need to select persons under Record (if recording on SD) and push/email notifications.
Video Doorbell - person detection is busted.
