I am currently comparing cameras, seeing what will fit my needs the best and I don't understand a few things.
1) when looking at the Specs for the D1200 there is a 2.8mm and a 4.0mm what is the difference and what is the measurement referring to?
2) there is a bundle option (comes with cables) for the bullet style 1200B4 but nothing only a standard kit (no cables) for the 1200D4 turret style, what's up with that?
3) in the specs under Video & Audio for the Audio category some say 'Audio Recording' and others say 'Cameras with built-in mic' what??? I am assuming Audio Recording is meaning it records audio and no idea what I you mean with 'Cameras with built-in mic' so it doesn't ???
4)The turret style camera I am assuming if you mount it on a horizontal surface you could still pivot it in the downward direction just by turning the base of it, correct?

@bearhug I do not find a product in the "store" with the number D1200.
- In general, a 2.8mm lens is more wide angle than a 4mm lens.
- Who knows? the five cables included in the 1200B4 kit are 18m long. If you need a six meter cable for a particular camera, that is too short. If you need only a three meter cable, then there are two meters of cable to coil up.
- no idea
- Yes, turret cameras can be mounted on a vertical or horizontal surface and rotated to point where you want them to point.

Yes, turret style cameras can often be mounted on a horizontal surface and pivoted downward by adjusting the base, allowing for versatile positioning.

@bearhug Yeah, some of the descriptions of cams vary a bit. If a cam has a mic then it will have two way talk too, etc. You could go to YouTube and watch a channel I like, LifeHackster. He reviews Reolink cams, shows how to use them etc. Reolink also has its own Youtube channel and support site with info. On Reddit Reolink the very first Welcome post has lots of info about Reolink cams including specs comparison charts. There's info there about the differences of buying a bundle with cams and NVR or buying cams separately and using a POE switch between the cams and the NVR. It's good to do some research before buying so you know what you are getting and how to install.
