Hello,i have got a Reolink Doorbell Wifi Version. Firmware = 18.104.22.1683_230413The doorbell has a lot if disconnects every day (3-4). When i log in at app, the stream sometimes down.At my Synology there there a disconnects.A repeater is behind the doorbell in the house.So, what can I do?There are a newer firmware?Can i change only 5GHZ?Thx.
@sandyde I have the same doorbell at my summer residence and the firmware is the same. It is connected to the 2.4G band. The doorbell is not connected to any NVR/surveillance system and so I cannot say whether there have been any disconnections. I see some members complaining about restarts due to high temperatures but have no idea what was the outcome. I suggest you to email Reolink support.
@sandyde yes the wifi sucks for both bands on the wifi doorbell. my tp-link mesh is on same floor about 5 feet away from where doorbell actually is and it cuts out all the time. I spend about 15 min just to watch a full 5 min clip.I'm only able to view live with low resolution.
I bought a 5GHz Repeater with Mesh.Now, no disconnections. Doorbell all the time connected with 5GHz and 650Mbit.
@sandyde So you had a weak WIFI signal. My cams are all WIFI and I am using the TP-Link RE650 which is quite good. I have two and that covers all my house.
