I purchased 2 Reolink Wireless/Battery Operated cameras. I have a Safevant NVR. I am trying to connect the cameras to the NVR and cannot seem to do it. What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?
Oh, dear. Reolink cameras that are powered support lots of interface standards. In addition to Reolink's Windows, Mac, Android, & Apple applications, regular web browsers can connect directly to the cameras, and they also support streaming standards. The battery-powered cameras can be accessed ONLY with Reolink's software. The battery cameras simply do not have the "power" (humor) to run all that software.I think what you are attempting is impossible.
Hi, yes, the battery-powered cameras could only be accessed via the Reolink App and Reolink Client on PC. They don't support the Reolink NVR. As the battery-powered cameras used for motion detection record but not 24/7 record, so the micro SD card and cloud are enough for the battery-powered cameras.
