I would like the ability to look at all the alarms that have been set off. Currently I have 8 cameras recording 24hrs a day, so I can't just go look at where they recorded because of an alarm, because they are always recording. Adding an alarm tracker that says when an alarm went off on which camera would be nice.
Your request has been collected. Engineering is reviewing the feasibility of implementing this idea. We’ll schedule to implement the request if it’s accepted. Otherwise it goes to the suggestion pool and may be reactivated if others make similar requests again. Thank you sincerely for sharing your thoughts. We will take your request seriously and work hard to make our products better~If you own a Reolink NVR, then things will be easier-https://reolink.com/faq/check-motion-triggered-events-constant-recording/
Thank you for your reply. Is there any chance of getting a copy of the source code for the NVR, implementing this feature myself, creating a patch, and submitting it back to the Reolink devs? I am a software developer and wouldn't mind contributing, for free, to the cause to get this implemented quicker.Thanks,-- Jworrin
Any update on if they will send me the code and allow me to make a patch?Thanks,-- Joshua
I would like to second this feature. It's my fault for buying the NVR without verifying that this feature was there, but for some reason it seemed like a feature that should be on all security systems. I guess I just got spoiled by Blue Iris.My use case is record 24/7 the front door, when motion detection goes off I have it e-mail me and this works. But a single screen shot simple isn't that useful. It would be easier if the PC client had a skip to next event button and would play from there.
Any updates from the dev team about this? This feature should not be hard to code and would be incredibly useful. If you want to go back and look at all the times motion detection was triggered to view the video around it then there is currently no way to do that. Again, I am a software engineer and would donate my time to get this done.Thanks,-- Joshua
+1 for the feature. Any news about it?
