View Wired Reolink Camera to PC In VLC (or other Program) on Linux Mint

Hi All,

So i have an old laptop with Linux on it and i have a couple of C1 Pros. I want to give one of these and the laptop to an older relative who doesn't have the internet. I'm hoping to be able to cable the camera to the laptop for a live feed. I have VLC v2.2.2 and OBS on there.

Can this be done?

If not, any advice/recommendations are appreciated.

I now have v3.0.* of VLC using snap.
