I'd like to suggest a change in the Playback Mode..Instead of just having a Blue Line for every detection, I'd like to see a different color for each detection.Example is Vehicle Detection = Red, Person Detection = Green, All Other Detections = BlueThe Color ID would help in for looking certain activity..I've attached a picture with what I am suggesting..Color-ID.jpg
@big_ted Running Java v8, build 331 (both 32 & 64 bit installed).

Can we add Finger Print Security, or a PIN rather than entering a password every time you open the app ?RLN8-410
Most cell phones and apps allow you to use the Finger Print Scanner (biometrics) as a way to accessan app, rather than entering the app password..I would like to see that implemented in the Reolink app for cell phones.
I have the same issue.. I get a full blank screen. Happens to me on playback only, and is random..My system:Dell Alienware R10OS: Windows 10 - Home 64bitCPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800xRAM: 32gbVideo: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 10gb
Here is an update:I found that if you adjust the Detection Sensitivity on a camera, using the Windows Client, then the Motion Detection Zones get messed up..
Updated to v8.16.10, on Windows 10, and the issue I am having is when I close the Reolink Program, it gets stuck running in background.I have to open Task Manager to End Task.. This has happened too many times. So I am back to v8.16.8.
With v8.17.6 playback is very jerky.. Went back to v8.16.8, no issues..
@joseph_1979 I hope this clarifies it more..First camera on the NVR is Camera 1. But the FTP file names it 0.(NVR_00_20251002011659.mp4, But it should be named NVR_01_20251002011659.mp4)Second camera on the NVR is Camera 2. But the FTP file names it 1.(NVR_01_20251002011659.mp4, But it should be named NVR_02_20251002011659.mp4)Third camera on the NVR is Camera 3. But the FTP file names it 2.(NVR_02_20251002011659.mp4, But it should be named NVR_03_20251002011659.mp4)Forth camera on the NVR is Camera 4. But the FTP file names it 3.(NVR_03_20251002011659.mp4, But it should be named NVR_04_20251002011659.mp4)This is also the case with Downloading Playback Videos from the NVR.
@joseph_1979 NVR and Cameras all have the latest firmware.You can not generate subfolders by camera name via FTP on the NVR.Plus, if it could, the issue is the camera naming (NVR_00 is really NVR_01, etc), which is the original issue.I also noticed that if you download video clips the naming is also wrong (ie, NVR-0-Garage, which is really NVR-1-Garage), but at least it has the camera name (garage).
@joseph_1979 The cameras are connected directly to the NVR (RLN8-410). No separate POE Switch.There is no option in the NVR to FTP on a per camera level.The only option for FTP is On or Off , and a schedule per camera.
When the video clips are saved to my NAS via FTP, the camera numbers are wrong..Example: FTP file says, NVR_00_<date><time>.mp4, but it's really NVR_01_<date><time>.mp4.It would be nice to have the correct camera numbers,, or even better,, have it save the file with the Camera Name.
With v8.17.6 playback is jerky.Went back to v8.16.8, no issues.
I have the same issue.. My setup is (4) RLC-820A cameras, connected the Reolink NVR..All have the most current firmware, and Reolink Client on Windows 10.When there is a delay, I get the icons on the screen (let's say for vehicle motion), I can hear the vehicle drive by, and the video will show the vehicle drive by 5 seconds later.
@joseph_1979 The NVR is on the same network. All hardwired. Only thing running in background is Anti-Virus (eset NOD32 (Not Internet Security)).Reolink is showing 5 instances in Task ManagerWith Hardware Decoding On.. Using 0.3% CPU, 332mb MemoryWith Hardware Decoding Off.. Using 2.0% CPU, 260mb Memory
