With v8.17.6 playback is jerky.Went back to v8.16.8, no issues.
With v8.17.6 playback is very jerky.. Went back to v8.16.8, no issues..
Updated to v8.16.10, on Windows 10, and the issue I am having is when I close the Reolink Program, it gets stuck running in background.I have to open Task Manager to End Task.. This has happened too many times. So I am back to v8.16.8.
I have the same issue.. My setup is (4) RLC-820A cameras, connected the Reolink NVR..All have the most current firmware, and Reolink Client on Windows 10.When there is a delay, I get the icons on the screen (let's say for vehicle motion), I can hear the vehicle drive by, and the video will show the vehicle drive by 5 seconds later.
@joseph_1979 The NVR is on the same network. All hardwired. Only thing running in background is Anti-Virus (eset NOD32 (Not Internet Security)).Reolink is showing 5 instances in Task ManagerWith Hardware Decoding On.. Using 0.3% CPU, 332mb MemoryWith Hardware Decoding Off.. Using 2.0% CPU, 260mb Memory
@joseph_1979 I turned off Hardware Decoding, and right away I noticed that anything moving, freezes for a second, then moves again, then freezes, and moves again (vehicles, people, etc.).My Computer system is a AMD 5800x CPU, 32 Gb Ram, Nvida RTX-3080 10gb Ram. So, there should be no slow down or freezing..
@joseph_1979 I'll try disabling Hardware decoding, and see if it helps.. Thanks...I was running Windows Client v8.14.0There was a delay in video in this version also, I thought they would have fixed it in 8.14.2.Current System Setup:Reolink NVR RLN8-410 (N2MB02), Config: v3.0.0.0, Firmware: v3.3.0.226_230316444 - RLC-820A Cameras, Hardware Version: IPC_523128M8MP, Firmware: v3.1.0956_22041501
The issue I'm having is in:1) Playback mode, I get audio, but no video (black screen)...I then have to click on Live View, wait 10 seconds, then click Playback. Usually that fixes the no video issue.The No video issue happens randomly...2) If I have the client (Windows Client) running for more than 20 mins, I get a delay in video.. Audio is fine.Example: I can hear a vehicle drive by,,, the icon on the screen shows a vehicle,, But 5 - 7 seconds later, the video shows the vehicle driving by.
@big_ted 95% of the time, I get the black screen when I do the following..Playback ModeSingle or Multiple Screens in view (highest 2 screens at a time)In High Resolution Mode (but a few times in Fluent mode)If I then I click on a new time line (example: looking at 6:00am, and with the mouse I click on another time (on the time line bar), I will get the black screen)It's random as to when I click on a new time line.. Could be the first time I change to a different time,, it could be the fifth time,, etc..
@big_ted Running Java v8, build 331 (both 32 & 64 bit installed).
@big_tedI installed the beta client v8.8.0, and as you said disabled hardware decoding. The black screen issue has been reduced, but still happens.
I have the same issue.. I get a full blank screen. Happens to me on playback only, and is random..My system:Dell Alienware R10OS: Windows 10 - Home 64bitCPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800xRAM: 32gbVideo: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 10gb
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 I can also confirm that the "Fixed Frame Rate" & "Interframe Space" options are not there..But I also noticed that, Based on their picture, they are showing the option on a single camera, Not on an NVR.(Notice the 810A (upper left corner), and the lack of which camera to set (which would be above the "Stream" on an NVR).
@reolink-fiona Something to add to the Client v8.7.0, is a way to set a default for the resolution when you make it full screen..Then the customer has the choice whether Standard (Balanced) or Clear..As for the Import function,,, it serves no purpose to have an Export configuration option, without a way to Import the configuration.
@reolink-fiona Country: USALanguage: EnglishI have tried "C:\temp", "D:\Downloads", "C:\", and numerous others..Nothing gets created (Windows Client v8.5.2).I installed Windows Client v8.7.0 (beta), and it did create the export file..But, we still need an Import option, otherwise Exporting the configuration is useless..One thing I noticed right away with v.8.7.0, is that when you click on a camera to make it full screen, you thenneed to right click and pick Clear for a better video resolution. With v8.5.2, when you clicked on the camera,it defaulted to Clear mode.. Something to look into..
@reolink-fiona That is the exact procedure I am using, and the export file never gets created. But the screen says "Export Successfully!", after picking a folder and clicking on export. I've tried to save to different drives, and folders. Nothing works..
I installed the latest version of the camera firmware, and need to import an old configuration file, and noticed that the Import option is missing (see pic).I've tried installing an older version of the NVR firmware, but that didn't fix the issue. So reinstalled the latest version.I also noticed that if I try to Export the configuration file,,, the file never gets created.NVR: RNL8-410 (N2MB02) (v3.0.0159_21122454)Cameras: RLC-820A (IPC_523128M8MP.764_21121701.RLC-820A.IMX415.8MP.REOLINK)
I'd like to suggest a change in the Playback Mode..Instead of just having a Blue Line for every detection, I'd like to see a different color for each detection.Example is Vehicle Detection = Red, Person Detection = Green, All Other Detections = BlueThe Color ID would help in for looking certain activity..I've attached a picture with what I am suggesting..Color-ID.jpg
Have you checked your local network bandwidth ?Ping your NVR from your computer.. See if there is a long delay..If you have something like Norton Security Suit running, it could be blocking the data flow.
