@user_gil_603497361449078 Considering that Reolink camera is forwarding the recorded videos to the cloud and you are receiving push notifications each time triggered together with the fact that you are able to log and watch live views from the other camera then I suspect that the P2P server is returning the old public IP/Port assigned to your camera. Do you have some relatives who can go to your house and switch off and on the camera? Normally the cameras at regular intervals communicates with the P2P servers and if the P2P server receives a different public IP/Port from what is in the profile associated with your UID, then it shall update it. If you have nobody to attend the house then I suggest you to contact Reolink support. Note that I have an RLC511WA which has a similar problem and after forwarding traces support confirmed that there is an issue and will correct it in the next firmware release.
Thnks for the response. It is a bit over my pay grade - what is a P2P server?I have no one who can turn the camera off & on. I do have neighbors, but no one under 70, and I don't want any of them climbing a ladder to reach the camera. I'll have that same issue when I do get home.I did contact Reolink support about this as well as posting here. No response from them.
I have been getting notices all day today from the Reolink camera that there is someone in our yard. There is - our lawn person. I still cannot connect. BUT - evidently the camera IS connected to the CLOUD, because I can see recordings of the person in the yard if I go to the Cloud. So what does that mean?
The camera is still there. I have a blink camera that can see where the Reo camera was mounted, and it is still mounted. And a neighbor checked my property & found all intact. What I do not know is if the solar cell powering the camera is still intact/connected. If it is not, that can explain the issue. But assuming that too is attached, wndering if something I can do to reconnect.
After Hurricane Ian, we lost our Internet. We were, of course, unable to view our camera (Argus PT) remotely. When the Internet service was restored, our camera still is not viewable. We are not home, so we'd like to see what our yard looks like.Is there something we can do remotely to connect to the camera again?
@reolink-fiona Thanks. It is a 64GB card, don't have ny idea what kind of format though. It started working last night - I was able to view videos recorded on the disk.BUT this morning, when I try to play the recorded videos, it shows me the date, but the logo just keeps spinning & spinning, with a message Loading Video Info, but nothing loads. I get a message saying Unable to Load Video, Try Again. I try again, and it spins & spins, not loading. I try again, and there it is - I can see the videos. I am doing this only about 10 ft from the camera.ALSO - once I see the videos on the disk, I can't figure out how to erase them from the card?
Just installed Argus PT, and getting very odd behavior. If I try to look at recordings on the Camera, I am told there are no recordings. But they ARE there if I look on the Cloud. There is a SD card in the camera. What is very strange is that this only happens when I look at the camera from home. From home, I just get CANNOT CONNECT. But when I am away from home, it connects fine (but still not recording - it just lets me see activity). Very odd? Is there some setting that is overriding the Camera connection when I am connecting on my home network?
