LOL.
- I have 9 of these TOYS.
- Recently, 3 of them FAILED to record a garage door opening, a car leaving the garage down the driveway and exiting the property and navigating down the street.
- This happened after the SAME 3 cameras recorded activity minutes before failing to record the event described above.
- I submitted a support request, #1087484, and in TRUE Reolink fashion, it's being IGNORED.
- KICKING my self for trusting Reolink and their MISLEADING and FRAUDULENT product claims.
- AVOID Reolink - JUNK!

Like MAGIC, Reolink replied to BOTH of my issues.
It appears one needs to resort to VULAGARITY to get anything done.
Their products and service still SUCK.

Hi, there. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Our support team has contacted you and discussed with you about the reason why Lumus failed to record this event.
It is might be the slight temperature difference in this event that happened quickly so Lumus failed to trigger the PIR sensor. Please observe the cameras for some more time. We will be responsible for it if there is indeed some problem. Please don't worry about it. You could pay attention to your email box.Reply QuoteShare0- Share this Post

@reolink-fiona
THANK YOU for a logical explanation!
I also received a similar/same from Beatrice.
Makes COMPLETE sense.
My apologies for "going" off, but I was at the end of my rope, as they say.
I'm actually quite satisfied with the cameras' performance and actually recommended an Reolink NVR system to my cousin last week.
I feel that Reolink is a cost effective and good solution for security needs.
Thanks again and feel free to delete my rant above. -
@bocephus_371391602962608 Note that rapid detection of a PIR occurs when walking across the detection area since multiple sectors are crossed and subsequently trigger the PIR. Walking towards the sensing area of a PIR detector may result in later detection (or sometimes none at all) as it is possible to walk towards the PIR sectors without crossing them. They also have a range of the IR detection and this is impacted by many factors including temperature.

Will you consider other WiFi cameras with vehicle detection? They will be more sensitive in this environment. Or the Argus series? that comes with PIR and AI detection.
Lumus a "Security" cam?
