Just having bought a thermal imager from China (the US restricts high frame rate ones so China's better & cheaper) I thought it would be a good product to add to the ReoLink range. If I could "glue" the thermal imager that I have to the ReoLink gimbal as well as power the device and weather-proof it, I would. Obviously most useful at nighttime but that's when we need good "dark" imaging, near-IR lighting is easily spotted and circumvented.
@user_744806601150713_744806601150713 What I see on the "Buy" button is "Notify Me", and it's been that way for months...Pretend to buy one and see what happens...
Hi guys. For the RLC-823A 16X...Your shop doesn't have it, eBay won't ship it, Amazon won't ship it... Help!
Using your ReoLink cameras, I just noticed some "naughty people" checking out the neighbourhood taking photos covertly with their mobile phone... I was playing on a computer / cellphone trying to get BlueTooth pairing going and noticed their devices (cellphone & scooter) pop up as available. Just a thought... if you can, add Bluetooth monitoring as an option to "log" onscreen any open devices within the vicinity - with a user exclusion list to only show alien devices.
Hi guys.I have a few "C" mount lenses from my old 16mm film days (yes, I'm old). What would be nice would to have a body provided by Reolink that took a C mount. I've been eyeing up my hacksaw and a spare camera but would prefer something likely to work! Thanks... Clark
Hi guys.Under the specifications for the RLC-810A there's 2.4mm (wide), 4.0mm (normal) and 6.0mm (telephoto) listed. I have the wide & normal versions but are now looking for the 6.0mm (telephoto) lens. But in the shop you can only select the 2.8mm and the 4.0m - there's no mention of 6.0mm.Thanks... Clark
Hi guys.I purchased a couple of RLC-510A cameras to add to an older installation that I have.I can't seem to install any firmware on this device, all downloads come up with an invalid file format error. See below.I've tried all available downloads and no joy; this isn't a problem with my older cameras of the same model.Thanks... Clark
RLC-811Abuild 22042008IPC_523128M8MPv3.1.0.0v3.1.0.956_22042008Hi ReoLink people. This Sunday morning my camera rebooted as programmed to at 2am.The autofocus triggered and went completely out of focus, this was even though I had set AutoFocus to OffMy workaround for this for now is to set the reboot time to 5am to minimise the lost footage but it would be nice if the autofocus flag was honoured. Many thanks... Clark
@reolink-fiona Thanks, appreciate your investigation.I just like to know what all the knobs and buttons do in case I'm missing some functionality that I might find of use. Cheers... Clark
@reolink-fiona I'm using the web interface so is unlinked to O/S software; same on Mac / Windows / Android / Linux with any web browser. I happen to be using a Mac at this instant with Chrome. You can replicate this by logging into a web based interface on the camera eg: http://192.168.1.217/, then using "playback" and pressing the "play" button... the above captured image will pop up. We all know what "Fluent" and "Clear" are, the question is "What is "Autotrack"?Specific camera data below though all the PoE cameras with v1.0.277 display this option.(except the Reolink Duo PoE & RLC-842A as the new firmware is not yet available for these cameras).RLC-810Abuild 22041503v3.1.0.956_22041503
Hi guys. When you hit playback with the latest firmware you can choose Clear, Fluent and Autotrack. What is Autotrack and what does it do? It seems to just playback from 00:00 without the option to move the timeline.Thanks... Clark
@reolink-fiona Well done! The PTZ camera restarts and the view isn't reset back to the factory default of 0,0You can close this suggestion, you guys are very responsive, your product gets better and better every day (like a Tesla ;).Thank You!
@reolink-fiona RLC-823AApologies for the delay... I only just noted your message while browsing again...Thanks... Clark
@clark_463039665144015 Latest firmware allows different brightness settings for Day / IR (night); Yay!
Hi guys. When some of our cameras are on IR mode, the flood light on nearby objects tricks the automatic exposure such that I need to tweak the brightness up. The problem is when the IR floodlights are off durning the day the images are overexposed.Fix suggestion: Option for two brightness adjustments, one for non-IR (daytime) and one for IR (nighttime).Thanks... Clark
Hi guys. When our PTZ cameras do their weekly restart, the cameras just end up pointing into space missing coverage and tripping alarms.Could the firmware please be modified to go to the first set view?Thanks... Clark
Currently in a web browser with multiple cameras it looks like this:In a web browser I suggest using Camera Names as Tab Names...When you want to view a specific camera, it's a lot easier if you can go directly to the named tab rather than click through them one by one looking for the view that you are looking for.A lot more useful and will help enhance your offering for a relatively simple software tweak.
