The low light image quality on the CX410 is great. Overall it is a very nice camera addition to the line. However; the "UNDER WATER" quality of the Mic sucks! The light settings for the spots, as currently implemented, when the camera exists in a very low ambient light environment, leaves a lot to be desired. It appears that the spots are only being utilized as an augment to what Reolink has determined as a "too low ambient light level". I understand that Reolink wants to use the spots to "enhance higher quality night color images. That is great but ... I suggest that they allow the end user to determine how and if they want the Spots to function. Allow the end user to determine how and in what manner they, as the owner, want to use the spots on their CX camera.
I have three of these cameras installed at a customer location. One camera was warranty replaced last month. All three cameras were running build 22051000 & firmware v3.0.0.973.The warranty replacement came with build 21051100 & firmware v3.0.0.307.Firmware v3.0.0.973 has the Person/Vehicle motion settings and firmware v3.0.0.307 does not.I have checked Reolink's download and the library created by a user and linked here and can not find any firmware for these cameras. How do I get the firmware updated on the replacement camera?
@chade1179_638817498423850 I realize that this sounds odd, but is there any possibility that the ReoLink Client App is opening on the second video device and that is why it is running but not displaying on the primary screen? Try connecting a secondary screen to the other display connection. or try the key sequence listed at superuser#com Question # 53585 "how to move windows that open off screen"Q: "I have a dual monitor setup, and I recently played around with the positioning settings, and some of my single window applications do the favour of preserving where they were last closed, and opening in the same position later. Unfortunately, that now places them out of the viewable area of my screens! Is there some way to force a particular window into the viewable area?A:"Some open programs default to opening up on a secondary or tertiary monitor and are not visible. Hit the "Windows" key with the left arrow, until the window eventually gets back to the main monitor."
Hope you opened a Support ticket with ReoLink. That is the setup "ding" noise. It seems like your camera has failed and is in a reboot loop. If as the other comment said about all the connections being clean then it is internal to the camera.
@reolink-fiona Fiona, It has been three weeks since you mentioned that the engineers were working on a Firmware update for the Doorbell product to support 2-way Audio. Has there been any progress in their development efforts?
@reolink-fiona Thank you Fiona. Looking forward to the Local Storage support. Hopefully things like Synology will be included.
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Well then you need to click on the Windows link, because that is what I got downloaded on my Win 11PC "Reolink-8.8.0.dmg" .Maybe I'll try the MAC link. LOL
I am running the v8.10.0 beta. Is this an upgrade or downgrade? How do I deploy a *.DMG file in Windows?
@rtenklooster_610040939905331 Any chance you can share the steps that you have gone through to enable this on your mobile? For those of us less technically "Scrypted" inclined
Just spend $5 USD and use Pushover
Two Wi-Fi Doorbells. Finally got the Visitor push notification working. What a PITA to get working!!! Now I realize that the audio volume at the Doorbell is so low that you almost need to bend over and press your ear to the Doorbell. Really!!! and with no way to increase that mousey volume level?? I can get over the fact that the push notification for VISITOR can not change the notification sound from the normal camera push notification (maybe).I can get over the inability to trigger the old school doorbell chimes (let's get real Reolink, everybody has them. Make them work with your Doorbell (maybe). But the whisper volume level for SIREN and Push to Talk is laughable, and not being able to increase the volume at the Doorbell, that's a non-starter.
