Was just curious how everyone's electric bills have been affected using these systems?

I have the RLN8-410 NVR and have my recording set for 24-7. When I select a specific time frame to download, it will only show me full one hour increments to select and download. I was hoping to be able to choose a specific area to download to my flashdrive.

Reason I was asking was because I could have sworn I read an Amazon review of someone using one, but wasn't sure which model NVR they had. If it is possible, what make or brand wireless mouse? Stringing an extension USB cable across my floor is a bit of a pain.

You can purchase SATA HDD and SATA-to-eSATA conversion cable for connection.
You don’t necessarily need to purchase eSATA HDD which has less options available on Amazon.

Now that I my system setup, I was looking to add more external hard drive space. Searching around on Amazon, I see a few ESATA external hard drives, but am not sure if they're designed for surveillance use. Would appreciate any make of models that are well known to work. Thanks.

All of my camera setting are still at default. I wasn't sure what adjustments to make.

One of my RLC-410's is mounted about 12ft up along the side of my house where there's no lighting at night. Daylight images are OK, but night images are totally dark with IR illumination working. Should I be making any adjustments somewhere?

Hello all. I recently setup the Reolink 8 camera system and so far, everything's working pretty good. Is it necessary to update firmware if no problems exist and has anyone noticed any improvements after the updates?
