I can't figure out what's causing it; but 8.7.1 keeps freezing the live video feed from the NVR (windows 11). Only way to get it back is to close out the client and re-open it. Sometimes it's fine for a few hours, sometimes it locks up after 30min.
@john_350143387672724 Curious if that will matter with SMTP/POP clients. Just checked the 3rd party google access and reolink isnt on that list. ( nor is any other email clients I use with the same type access)https://myaccount.google.com/security
@reolink-fiona Same issue with notifications sort of.What I'm noticing. Reolink PC client does not have the option to enable/disable "Push" notifications like the Record, Email, FTP, and Siren options in the PC client. We only have the ability to select the type of Push notification and the schedule. Not sure if that is new or always been a design choice.Testing:Action: set push schedule and push notification type on all cameras via Reolink NVR using the Reolink PC client 8.7.1, (remotely)Result: Individual camera accessed directly from Camera's IP was not showing the correct push notification settings, set above.Result: Android app version 4.29.0.6, was not showing the push notifications enabled any individual cameraResult: Android app version 4.29.0.6, is showing push notifications enabled under the "group" NVR camera list.End result: no notifications.Action: individually enable push notifications on each camera in the Android app version 4.29.0.6Result: Push notifications worked for each camera.End result: worked as expected.Expectations: All programs should sync. A change on any specific device or program( pc or mobile) should migrate to other devices/programs.Cameras RLC-811A firmware: v3.1.0.764_21121708RLC-822A firmware: v3.1.0.764_21121707NVRRLN16-410: v3.0.0.159_21122455SoftwarePC client: v8.7.1Android app: 4.29.0.6 Phone Samsung Galaxy S9+
Simple question I hope, just can't figure it out.How do you change the "camera" password on the Reolink NVR by using the PC client (8.7.1)? In the PC client I see the cameras individually in the device list labeled "Not Initialized" When clicking that specific camera, it asks to change the password. When you change the password, the NVR looses communication; obviously because the password changed. Can you change the camera password on the NVR without physically going to the NVR?I'm coming from Hikvision where everything can be configured from the iVMS-4200 remotely. so I'm kind of use to that system. Thanks!
