@john_350143387672724 Thank you! Now it downloads. That is so strange.
@crimp-on_62210811129 Yeah, really strange issue.I even tried running it as Administrator, still no go
I do have write permissions to this directory. I have tried setting it to other directories like Desktop, Videos and so on. No go.Latest Reolink client version 8.8.5 (same problem with all 8.8.x versions)Latest Windows 11 version (Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.22621.1485])
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Ah, sorry misunderstood
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Why is RLC-510A called a "battery powered" camera? It runs on POE
@reolink-fiona Super! I record a lot of snow falling and insects at night since I'm stuck to movement detection for pets
@reolink-fiona Ah, forgot to write I have RLC-510A cameras. Are they going to get this?Hardware version IPC_523128M5MP_V2
@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 There is alarm delay for people and vehicle detection on my RLC-510A cameras but not for movement what I can find?
Twice a day, every day, on each camera I get movement detection and (not very useful) video recordings of when each camera switches between day and night mode. It would be nice if it simply ignored any "movement" during a second or two when it knows it is itself doing the mode switching. Just let the code that switches the mode "turn off" the movement detection (if its on) right before it switches mode, then wait one or two seconds and turn it back on if it was on. What do you think?
How is the proper release of the beta with pet detection coming along? https://community.reolink.com/topic/515/rain-and-flying-insects?post_id=13072&_=1671232571280Very much looking forward to it/Magnus
@magnust Pet detection is current in beta version on a number of models. Reolink development team is still optimizing the detection algorithm to cover a number of pets. Once this phase is accomplished it will be deployed on a number of models. Which models will have it will be announced later on.Any news on the animal detection being released? Or possibility to be a beta tester?
No news?

@joseph-chircop_497308027822318 Thanks for the info! Looking forward to it
@reolink-fiona Any idea if/how I can get pet detection in addition to car and people detection on my RLC-510A cameras?
Hmm, when trying to update the firmware I get an error "Upgrade Failed. Failed to recognize the file format. Please try again" (using the pak file)The download page only have firmware for hardware no IPC_523128M5MP but in info on my cam it says IPC_523128M5MP_V2, I wonder if this is the problem, no updated firmware for the V2 yet?
@big_ted Ah, I thought I had checked for updates but I had v3.1.0.801_22010700 instead of the available v3.1.0.951_22041567Updating as we speak
I have two RLC-510A. They have car and people detection but not pets? Is there a beta with this included?
